Bihar Assembly elections Phase 2 voting LIVE: Polling to start at 7 a.m.

The second and final phase of Bihar Assembly elections will take place on November 11 in 122 Assembly constituencies spread across nearly 20 districts and 1,302 candidates are participating in the fray. Voting will also be held in Ghatshila, Jharkhand.
According to data from the Election Commission of India (ECI), voting will be held in 45,399 polling stations in Bihar, including 5,326 in urban areas and 40,073 in rural areas.
More than half of the voters (2.28 crore) are between the ages of 30 and 60. Only 7.69 lakh are in the 18-19 age group. The total number of women voters in these 122 constituencies is 1.75 crore.
The final phase covers Assembly constituencies in Magadh, Mithilanchal, Seemanchal, Shahabad and Tirhut districts. Of the 122 constituencies, 101 are general, 19 are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and two are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST). The performance of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the last Assembly elections was poor in Magadh and Shahabad districts, where it won only eight out of 48 constituencies.
