Three-day parole for ‘Savukku’ Shankar to attend mother’s funeral

Greater Chennai Police granted three-day parole to Youtuber ‘Savukku’ Shankar alias A. Shankar, who had a remand under the Tamil Nadu Goondas Act, 1982, following the death of his mother A. Kamala.

He was detained under the Goondas Act and the custody order was served on him at Puzhal prison on April 10, 2026.
