Three lucky Lotto winners scoop £1m each in Saturday draw | UK | News

Three lucky players managed to win £1 million each in tonight’s Lotto draw, following the launch of the game’s new format a month ago. Three winners matched five out of six numbers plus the bonus number.
Around 145 people won £1,000 each by matching five out of six numbers. In both draws, no player captured the grand prize by matching all six main numbers.
The winning numbers in Super Lotto on Saturday are as follows:
Round 1: 09, 13, 22, 36, 40, 45 and the bonus number was 41.
Round 2: 02, 13, 22, 40, 42, 58 and the bonus number was 54.
Andy Carter, senior winners advisor for National Lottery operator Allwyn, said: “What an incredible evening for players of the nation’s millionaire maker Lotto, with three ticket holders each winning a fantastic prize of £1.0 million in tonight’s draw.
“This brings the total to 32 Lotto millionaires since the launch of the new Two Chances to Win game format a month ago.
“Playing any National Lottery game is much more than just a chance to celebrate a big win.
“Every week, National Lottery players help raise nearly £33 million for Good Cause projects that make a real difference to communities across the UK.”
No player took home £175,000 by matching five out of five numbers in the Lotto HotPicks game, which used the same numbers as the lotto draw.
But five people matched four out of four numbers and won £6,500 each.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 14, 16, 18, 23, 35 and the Thunderball number was 07.
No ticket holder matched all five numbers and Thunderball won £500,000, but someone got the five numbers needed to win £5,000.
Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot will be an estimated £7.6 million.
