It has been claimed that Prince Harry has long feared that Prince William’s children would “overshadow” him. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, like their uncles, grew up in the royal spotlight; The eldest of three children has recently been in the spotlight over which school he will attend this year.
The 12-year-old, who will become a teenager this summer, will leave Lambrook School in July. Due to his age, George will start a new school in September, which is not yet known.
But royal biographer Andrew Morton claimed Harry had long had concerns that George, Charlotte and Louis would eclipse him.
He recently claimed that: Daily MailPalace Confidential: “The issue that has always worried Prince Harry, that he will be overshadowed by his brother’s children, is coming true.”
Eton College is rumored to be George’s next school and a contender for Marlborough College in Wiltshire.
Princess Catherine attended Marlborough College and, as a mother of three, Catherine was rumored to be a potential candidate for her eldest son.
Due to the broken relationship between Harry and William, the 41-year-old’s once close bond with his nieces and nephews also appears to have suffered. At the time of their departure from royal duties, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were just six, four and one year old.
Speaking to the Daily Express recently, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that although the children are very young, they will likely be “aware” of their aunts and uncles.
Mr Fitzwilliams said: “Obviously, George, Charlotte and Louis were 6, 4 and 1 when Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in early 2020.
“They were very young. They would no doubt have noticed Harry later, and they probably knew or read that there were serious problems when it came to their uncle, not to mention Aunt Meghan!!”
