Three police officers killed in Pennsylvania shooting, with two others critical

Authorities were killed in a fire in the state of Pennsylvania, USA, and the other was critically injured.
Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris said the armed man was deadly shot by the police.
The incident took place immediately after 14:00 (18:00 GMT). Images at the scene showed that a police officer was ventilated in a medical helicopter.
The shooting briefly forced a nearby school area to take refuge in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania (a small town of about 2,500 people). The region then said that the school was not affected.
Authorities said there was no active threat to the public.
The shooting took place in a rural area of York County in North Codorus, about 100 miles (160km) of Philadelphia.
Authorities, the day before an investigation, said the civil servants were at the scene.
Commissioner Paris said the police did not share most of the details because the investigation continued.
In the local media, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro reached the region on Wednesday afternoon and met the families of the killed officers.
Shapiro, “We are upset about the loss of life of the three valuable souls that serve this district, serve this British Society, and serve this country.” He said.
“This kind of violence is not good, we need to do better as a society.”
Shapiro then ordered all the flags in the state to be reduced to half the pole in honor of three killed officers.
All Pennsylvania State Flags will be reduced in all public buildings and reasons in the Nations Community.
FBI Director Kash Patel said that agents provide help to local and state partners.
“Our prayers are civil servants, their families and the entire York County community,” Patel wrote.
