Three Tails Brewery, Mudgee – SMH Good Food app review
Three Tails Brewery was founded by local friends Mick Ash, John Latta and Ned Kelly who thought the town could use some more beer. The Brooklyn-style brewery seats 300 with 21 of its own beers, ranging from easy-drinking beers to more left-field releases like a lemon poplar sour or a wine-beer hybrid made with cabernet grapes from Robert Stein Winery.
If this sort of thing interests you, pop along to Beer Geek Sunday, which highlights rare and hard-to-find beers from Australia and beyond. The kitchen is run by local pop-up Billy Boils and serves pizzas, burgers, and standout Korean fried chicken, best paired with Samurai rice beer.
