Three teenage girls are seen laughing and playing in waterfall before slipping on rocks and drowning in India

Horrific footage shows the moment three Indian teenagers slipped off rocks at a waterfall and drowned.
The girls, estimated to be between 16 and 17 years old, were playing and laughing as their feet slipped and were dragged into deeper waters in footage taken from the bank.
The tragedy occurred on Thursday at Mulagummi waterfall, a forest area near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh state, India Today reported.
The names of the dead were reported in the Indian press as Trisha (17), Ratna Kumari (16) and Pavitra (16).
There were also reports that a fourth girl was also rescued, but she does not appear to be featured in the clip available online.
Footage posted on social media shows the girls rowing by the water and lovingly wrestling each other.
One of the girls in the pink outfit loses her balance on the slippery rocks and falls backwards into deep water.
Another of the young men wearing black manages to climb the rocks; he laughs at the camera, not realizing his friends are struggling behind him.

Two of the girls are seen drifting into deeper water; All three reportedly cannot swim.
One of the girls climbs the rocks, laughs at the camera before realizing the plight of her two friends and returning to the water to retrieve them, only to become a victim herself.
He then turns around to see the other two girls are also in danger and goes inside to get them back.
As the person filming the scene puts his phone down, the heads of all three teenagers slide below the surface and they can be heard screaming for help.
Local officials said none of the three girls knew how to swim.
According to NDTV, local people rushed to save the young women but were swept away by the current.
It is said that the bodies were taken away by the police with a postmodern approach and the investigation continues.
According to Indian media, all four girls were from Hukumpeta’s Jambuvalasa village and had gone on a trip to take photos at the waterfall.
Andhra Pradesh police were contacted for comment.
