Thunderstorm forecast in 12 Telangana districts on July 17

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued storm forecast for 12 Telangana districts on Friday, July 17, 2026.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, it is likely to be accompanied by lightning and strong winds at remote places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

The next 24 hours will see generally cloudy skies in and around Hyderabad city. “Light rain or thunderstorms are very likely to occur in some parts of the city. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35°C and 25°C respectively,” according to the bulletin.
