More shops & parking unveiled in redevelopment of Kardinya Park Shopping Centre

New food and beverage, market and parking options are now available at Kardinya Park Shopping Centre.
They are part of the second phase of the project to transform the center into a $380 million mixed-use district, which is scheduled to be officially opened on Wednesday by Deputy Prime Minister Rita Saffioti.
Work on the $65 million second phase included a signalized entrance from South Street to a three-level undercover car park with 550 bays, 360 of which are undercover.
There is also a new wellness precinct with health and medical services, expanded fresh food and dining options and a larger Coles supermarket, which now spans 3,790 square metres.
The first phase, completed in 2023, included construction of a new fuel station and access road to North Lake Road.
Future phases include a hospitality-focused expansion, a childcare center and residential apartments up to eight floors.
Timings will depend on tenant demand, market conditions and feasibility results.
New year’s tenants include Flames Burger and Grill, Hanoi Corner, FAST Urgent Care and various allied health services.
Owners Dato Holdings want to develop the shopping center into a leading mixed-use precinct for Perth’s southern suburbs.

Dato Holdings director Con Berbatis thanked tenants and customers for their support.
“The completion of the second phase is an indication of our determination to offer the level of integrated commercial comfort that Kardinya Park Shopping Center deserves,” he said.
Ray White Commercial WA client services manager Steven Cuzens said managing Kardinya Park through redevelopment was a rewarding challenge.
“We have maintained full operations and strong tenant relationships as we prepare the center for its next phase of growth.”
