TMC procured ‘artificial fingers’ to facilitate false voting in Bhabanipur: Suvendu Adhikari

West Bengal Assembly Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) alleged that a Trinamool Congress councilor had procured “hundreds of artificial fingers” to facilitate fake voting in the high-profile Bhabanipur constituency; this accusation was denied by the ruling party.

Speaking to reporters a day before voting for the second phase of the assembly elections, Mr Adhikari claimed that the councilor had purchased over 700 “artificial fingers” to enable fraudulent voting.
