Tom Moody Appointed LSG’s Global Director of Cricket

Luckily: Indian Premier League (IPL) team Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday appointed former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody as global cricket director for the upcoming season of the lucrative T20 league. Moody, 60, has coached Sunrisers Hyderabad twice. He left the team in 2022 when Brian Lara took over as head coach.
LSG posted a picture of Moody on social media with the caption: “Experience. Vision. Leadership. Welcome to the Universe of Super Giants, Tom Moody!” published under the title.
During his Australia tenure as a player, Moody played eight Tests and 76 ODIs, scoring 1667 runs and taking 54 wickets in the two formats combined.
He was a giant in Sheffield Shield cricket, scoring over 21,000 first-class runs, including 64 centuries, and taking 361 wickets.
