Tommy Robinson arrested over alleged assault at London train station

The far -right activist Tommy Robinson was arrested for an alleged attack at the Station of St Pancras in London.

On Monday, the British transport police said: “Civil servants from the BTP arrested a 42 -year -old man from Bedfordshire in connection with an attack at the St Pancras station in London on 28 July.

“The arrest took place at Luton Airport shortly after 18.30 after a notification that the man was on a flight from Faro.

“The man was asked to question after leaving the country to Tenerife in the early 29th hours following the incident in St Pancras.

He continued: “He was arrested on suspicion of GBH (severe physical damage) and will now be detained to question.”

Last Monday, it was understood that he showed the far-right activist real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon by moving away from a man injured at the St Pancras station.

Police said the man was taken to hospital with “serious” injuries that were not believed to be a life -threatening.

The extreme right activist was initially believed to ride a plane on the Spanish island at the beginning of Tuesday. Local Media Reports in Spain.

In 2009, Robinson founded the British Defense League (EDL) in Luton and was active until 2013.
