‘Toxic’: activists vandalise Aust-US memorial symbol
A symbol of the friendship of Australia and the United States was vandydalized because the pro-Palestinian activists monument reminded the role of the alliance of nations in the Israeli-Gazze conflict.
The demonstrators landed on the Australian-American Monument, also known as eagle in Canberra just before noon, and sprayed red paint on the base of the 79-meter column.
