Tragedy on SJ Suryah Film Set Leaves One Dead

A tragic accident took place on the sets of the upcoming Tamil movie Killer. The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday at the Binny Mills complex in Chennai. While the crew was filming the bomb explosion scene, a balloon gas cylinder exploded.

One technician died and three people were injured in the explosion. The deceased worker was identified as twenty-six-year-old Madhan from Maduravoyal. He worked in the special effects department. The three injured technicians are Sakthivel, Surya and Dinakaran. Rescuers rushed all four victims to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

Local police arrived at the scene and registered the incident. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the explosion. Authorities are checking whether the crew is following proper safety protocols. They are also investigating a possible technical malfunction. Production of the film was halted.

Director and actor SJ Suryah is expected to make an official announcement soon. She was last seen in LIK, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty. Last year, he played a negative role in Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
