Tragic boy, 12, confirmed dead after falling in playground | UK | News

A 12 -year -old boy lost his life tragically after a terrible decline in a playground. Emergency Services were called to the scene at the Wharton Recreation Ground in Ledward Street in Winsford after a call from the North West Ambulance Service.

After falling from parking equipment, they came to a 12 -year -old child who was subjected to serious injuries. Despite the heroic efforts of the health staff on the site, the young child died at the scene.

The child’s family has been informed and is currently receiving support from expert officers from the Cheshire police.

The police are now inviting anyone who has any information about this tragic incident to come to the forefront while investigating.

Detective Sergeant John Rhodes, protecting the vulnerable people from the Investigation Unit said: “This was a deep tragic event containing a very young victim, and unfortunately our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the child who died at the scene.” Liverpool Echo.

He also said: “As part of our investigation into this incident, we ask everyone in or around the Ledward Street in Winsford in Winsford during the event and see anything that can help us in our investigations.”

He also warned: “At this stage, I want to ask the people not to be fed especially in any speculation on social media, because this continues to be an ongoing investigation.”
