More than 800 domestic and international flights were delayed and 20 were canceled at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) due to technical problems in the air traffic control system. All airline operations at the airport have been affected and authorities are working to resolve the issues.

All airlines, including IndiGo, Air India, Air India Express, SpiceJet and Akasa Air, said there were delays in their flights at the Delhi airport due to problems in the air traffic control system.
Airports Authority of India (AAI) said in a statement in the morning that ‘flight operations at Delhi airport are facing delays due to a technical issue in the Automated Message Switching System (AMSS), which supports air traffic control data’.
Before Delhi Airport on channel X shared an update and said that all airline operations are currently affected and the relevant authorities are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The statement said, “Passengers are kindly requested to follow the airline companies’ updates regarding the revised schedules.”
