Trio of California girls filmed hurling lit firecracker in baby’s nursery window after hearing dog barking

Three teenagers giggling while throwing a lit firework into a California apartment have been arrested after they were caught on video.
The fire started at a home in Citrus Heights around 7 p.m. on June 30, according to the local police department.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a burning bed in the bedroom.
The flames were kept under control by firefighters, but not before the smoke destroyed everything in the room, according to a fundraiser.
The room was a nursery for Noah, the unborn son of Anthony Cadena and Lellises Morgans.
In the video footage, two young girls were seen hiding outside the house, pointing at the camera that recorded the incident.
After finding an open window, the girls peered inside and looked around before lighting a firework and throwing it inside.
A dog barking was also heard as he threw the small explosive out the window.
Footage captured a young girl giggling while launching a lit firework in Citrus Heights, California, on June 30.
Young people threw fireworks into the room built as a baby room for a baby boy named Noah, who will be born in two weeks.
They took off before the footage was cut off by the sound of the fire alarm.
Accordingly ABC10Authorities said the incident began after an earlier dispute involving a girl living in the home.
No one was injured.
Anthony told the news outlet that he was home playing a video game when his wife called to tell him the house was on fire.
She found the child’s room engulfed in flames and, with the help of bystanders, was able to contain the fire with a garden hose before first responders arrived.
“To see someone do something like that to someone’s house… they saw it was a nursery… just to see that these girls don’t care about anything… it’s honestly unbelievable that they would do something like that,” Morgans said.
Anthony Cadena said his wife, Lellises Morgans, called him while he was playing video games at home and told him the house was on fire.
No one was injured in the fire, but the smoke destroyed everything they had prepared for their baby.
A GoFundMe has been started to help support the family. The fundraiser raised nearly $24,000
According to a GoFundMe Established to help cover the cost of rebuilding the nursery, this project requires expecting parents to completely start over.
‘As they prepare for their baby’s arrival, they now face unexpected expenses such as changing the nursery, baby supplies and repairing damage caused to the room by a fire,’ the fundraiser reads.
Approximately $24,000 was raised, exceeding the $20,000 goal.
