Tropical system could make landfall in the Carolinas

The new model guidance shows that Carolinas may be affected by a tropical system at the beginning of next week, the severe air team closely follows 9 Atlantic.

The tropical wave called Invest 94L is strengthened near Hispaniola and Turk and Caicos in the afternoon of Thursday. While moving towards the Bahamas, more strengthening is expected to strengthen within the next 48 hours.
