The Traitors contestant Ellie breaks down in tears as she is banished during emotional roundtable – and leaves the group shocked with her huge secret

It was a highly emotional roundtable for The Traitors contestants to decide the final eight players on Friday.
Dr Ellie Buckley, 33, burst into tears when she received the most votes and was expelled, but shocked the group with her final speech.
In addition to revealing that she is Loyal, psychologist Ellie also revealed that she is in a relationship with 37-year-old Ross Garshong, who was voted out of the BBC show.
‘I have a confession to make before I go. I didn’t come here alone. “I actually came with my boyfriend Ross,” she said.
In the fourth episode, the secret was revealed to the audience, but the fellow contestants remained silent in the face of this news.
Suspicions that the pair knew each other began the moment they boarded the train in the Scottish Highlands during the first part of New Year’s Eve.

The pair, both from London, were seated across from each other and were deemed by the audience to be too familiar to be supposedly meeting for the first time.
Additionally, a group photo featuring Ellie and Ross from a business trip in June 2024 has surfaced, confirming that they knew each other before the show.
They have also both posted holiday snaps from the same location in Tenerife since filming wrapped last May.
Ellie shared the bikini photos, thought to have been taken at the glitzy Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, and wrote: ‘A little winter sun is good for the soul.’
Muscle model Ross, who is ranked fifth in Europe, also posted two Instagram photos from a trip with the caption: ‘Suns out, guns out. Holiday gains in Tenerife! Quick question: Do you train on holiday?’
Ross became the third contestant to be banished from Ardross Castle after other players became suspicious of him because he knew contestant Netty Österberg (42).
The pair explained that they had mutual friends when they were both living in London but had not seen each other for over 10 years, so the reunion came as a surprise to both.
During background checks, BBC bosses found Netty and Ross followed each other on social media but the connection was tenuous and so they did not want to cast them.
As well as revealing that she is Faithful, Ellie also revealed that she is in a relationship with Ross Garshong, 37, who was voted off the BBC show.
Ross said he was “dealt a bad hand” after being suspicious from day one because he knew Netty Österberg, 42.
Studio Lambert’s Creative Director, Mike Cotton, told the Daily Mail that none of the actors were warned before the opening scene because they wanted to watch their natural reactions on screen for the first time and see how it played out in the game.
Netty then became the first player to be ‘killed’ in the game and suspicions soon fell on Ross, with Traitors Stephen Libby (32), Rachel Duffy (42) and Hugo Bailey (51) taking the opportunity to accuse him.
Elsewhere in Friday’s episode, Jessie Roux is brutally murdered by the Traitors, leaving only eight contestants left in the competition.
The episode then ended with Rachel the Traitor and Stephen having to choose a Loyalist to give the ceremonial dagger to.
Whoever holds the dagger will receive a double vote at the next roundtable and, with just a few days left until the final, could change the vote.
