President Donald Trump announced Saturday that he would raise global tariffs to 15% following the Supreme Court’s decision this week.
“Based on a comprehensive, detailed, and complete review of the ridiculous, poorly written, and extraordinarily un-American decision on Tariffs issued yesterday by the Supreme Court of the United States, after months of deliberation, please note that this declaration will require me, as President of the United States, to impose, effective immediately, most of the United States for decades without retribution (until I show up!) at the fully permissible and legally tested level of 15%,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
