A camera was seen smashed to the ground and someone was heard saying “get the hell out of here” before a fight broke out.

In his opening remarks, Trump said it was “an honor” to meet with Xi today.

“We got along, when there were difficulties, we worked it out. I would call you, you would call me,” Trump said. “People don’t know, every time we had a problem we fixed it very quickly.”

This follows the president’s grand reception in Beijing on Thursday, which featured an extravagant display of children waving flags as he shook hands with President Xi Jinping.

Trump extended his trademark handshake to Xi before greeting many of China’s top officials, while Xi welcomed several senior American officials, including members of Trump’s own family.

Although the President was accompanied by a sizeable delegation that included his son Eric Trump, daughter-in-law Lara Trump and uneasy ally Elon Musk, First Lady Melania Trump was conspicuously absent.

This follows reports that the Chinese public gave Trump a less-than-savory nickname when he arrived in Beijing with Musk.

Shortly before the meeting began, Fox News’ Sean Hannity aired an interview with Secretary of State Marco Rubio; In that interview, Rubio offered a warning about potential divisions ahead of a high-level, high-stakes bilateral meeting Thursday morning.
