TG Southern Discom launches special drive for recovery of electricity bill dues

The Southern Power distribution company of TaLangana Ltd. (TGSPDCL) has launched intensive efforts to save extraordinary dues, especially from high tension (HT) services/consumers.

As part of the initiative, Discom exhibits notification boards in front of the plants of invoice stopped HT consumers and in front of the total amount arising from the consumer/company. MD. Mosharef Faruqui, according to the President and General Manager, said that measures have proved that the measures are effective in recovery of dues.

The company, which consists of 15 districts, including Greater Hyderabad, has announced that 728 invoice Stopped HT connection is not used in service areas. These connections have extraordinary dues in the 600 Crore setting. Similarly, the dues were ₹ 188 Crore 9.19 Lakh invoice stopped low tension (LT) services. The company has recently launched a special driving to save dues and has been collected about 100 crore so far.

Some people were unaware of their extraordinary electrical dues. CMD suggested that purchasing properties with electricity invoice fees be cautious because they had to clean the invoices. Details of extraordinary dues and linked properties have already been shared with the registration department.

Southern Discom has approximately 1.11 CRORE connection in local, agricultural, commercial (HT & LT), Industrial (HT & LT), local organs and public sector/government categories. The benefit also has high dues from government connections.
