Trump describes Burnham as ‘the mayor of a town’ and ‘extremely liberal’

Donald Trump gave his first public reaction to the possibility of former Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham becoming prime minister.
Campaigning during the Makerfield by-election, Burnham said Britain should avoid what he called the “polarised, toxic policies” of the US.
Asked for his opinion on the current leader to replace Sir Keir Starmer, Trump described her as “a town mayor” and said he had heard Burnham was “extremely liberal”.
