Former Pakistan captain and PCB chairman Ramiz Raja sparked a controversy with a statement he made off-mic on the opening day of the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa. This comment about the team’s star batsman, Babar Azam, was accidentally reflected in the broadcast audio and spread quickly on social media.

Although Raja’s comment was not part of the official commentary, it could still be heard by the audience. However, replays showed that Babar’s bat had no advantage, leading to the on-field decision being overturned.
