Trump fumes after $400m cherished project halted – ‘Radical Left Group of Lunatics’ | World | News

A federal U.S. judge on Tuesday issued an injunction blocking further construction of the White House ballroom. Judge Richard Leon ruled that proper procedures were not followed before the project began after the National Trust for Historic Preservation sued the White House.
The decision stated: “I conclude that the National Trust can essentially succeed because no law comes close to giving the President the authority he claims to have. The President of the United States is the steward of the White House for the next generation of First Families. But he is not the owner!
“(U)nconstruction must be halted until you and Congress approve this project through regulatory approval!” It enters into force within 14 days and objections can be made within this period.
The group also said it did not seek environmental assessment of the project and/or authorization from Congress.
They claimed Donald Trump It violated the U.S. Constitution, which “reserves to Congress the right to dispose of property belonging to the United States and to make all rules relating thereto.”
The president responded to the ruling in Truth Social, calling the watchdog group the “Radical Left Crazy Caucus.”
He wrote: “The National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Radical Left Crazy Caucus whose funding was halted by Congress in 2005, is not suing the Federal Reserve for a Building that was largely destroyed and demolished inside and out by an incompetent and possibly corrupt Fed Chairman.
“The once-magnificent building is BILLIONS over budget, may never be completed and may never open.
“All the beautiful walls inside were torn down, never to be built again, but the National Trust for Historic Preservation did nothing about it!”
