New York (Reuters) -US President Donald Trump said to the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, saying that countless people from all over the world would participate in the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympics and that he did not mention some of the migration pressure.

According to previous US government data, overseas fell to approximately 3.5 million visitors by 2.9% annually traveling to the United States. This year was the sixth month in which it fell a year ago, examined the global tourism trend and challenged the expectations of the 2025 -year -old visitors that they would finally exceed 79.4 million pandemic levels.

In a comprehensive speech, Trump said he would celebrate the 250th anniversary of US independence next year. “We will also proudly host the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics soon,” he said.

“It will be very exciting. I hope you all come. I hope countless people from all over the world will participate.”

World Soccer’s administrative body said in a statement earlier this month, FIFA, one of the fans in 210 countries in 210 countries, was taken within 24 hours for the World Cup. 48 team tournaments will be organized by Mexico, Canada and the United States and 16 hosts will have 104 matches in the city.

However, a US trip can be expensive and complex for many. Visitors from non -VISA waiver countries are faced with $ 250 “visa integrity fee” above the current fee, and passengers are already strolling during a long average visa waiting period. According to the data of the US Department of State, such visitors face an average of 169 days for an B-1/B-2 tourism or business visa interview.

This will traditionally hit fans from countries that send a great condition to the World Cup, including Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.

According to FIFA, the demand for a global ticket for the tournament came first from three host countries, followed by Argentina, Colombia and Brazil.

Visa -Waiver countries – mostly in Europe – will not have to pay new fees, but industry experts say that some postponed US holidays for fear of stopping at the border after the commonly published cases.

According to a government regulation published in August, the White House also wants to tighten the visa time for students, cultural exchange visitors and media members.

The 2028 Summer Olympics will be held in July 2028 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles.
