Meghan Markle ‘fuming’ after Netflix dig as she issues snide response | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

With love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration viewers noticed that the Duchess of Sussex was growing frustrated and her demeanor was changing. Kelly Zajfen, Meghan and Lindsay Roth worked together to make DIY Christmas wreaths, and were highly praised by the Netflix team as Kelly picked up their wreath to ask Meghan if the bows were “available right now.” “This is a quality wreath,” someone behind the camera said, to which she replied, “Thank you so much!” he replied. Before asking if they would buy it.

Afterwards, Meghan’s face looked expressionless: “This also shows that you don’t need an expert to do this. This is the first time they’ve come together.” Viewers immediately noticed the change in Meghan’s expression and also noticed her humorous response.

One user wrote: “I think the Netflix team deliberately complimented Kelly’s wreath as a tribute to Markle [laughing emojis]Another wrote: “Saying ‘you don’t need to be an expert’ was his way of undermining her… ‘Even a five year old can do it so don’t feel like you’ve accomplished anything Kelly!’ like saying. Hahaha, he can’t stand it not being all about him.”

A third added: “I’m pretty sure this was a veiled compliment from Megs.”

While a fourth tweeted: “You could almost see the steam coming out of his ears.” Another noted that he was “clenching his jaw,” while another user said, “Oh, he doesn’t like the attention being on anyone else. Extremely insecure and angry. Typical narc.”

Now that the festive version of Meghan’s Netflix special has been released, the feedback is coming thick and fast, but it’s not something the Duchess would be happy with. It was branded “incomprehensible” with “pointless crafts” and “random friends”.

It received a miserable one-star review from many publications, although The Guardian made some allowance and preferred two stars.

But TV critic Lucy Mangan still warned viewers to take “anti-nausea pills” to digest the programme’s content. In fact, in hindsight the only reason the second star was given was because “we’re safe now, at least until next year”.
