‘A little wild one on the way’

Randeep Hooda and his actor-entrepreneur wife Lin Laishram shared a heartwarming surprise with the world on Saturday by announcing that they are expecting their first child. The announcement was made on November 29, a date that was extremely meaningful for the couple and also marked their second wedding anniversary.

The couple announced the news with a special social media post featuring photos of them and the caption: “Two years of love, adventure and now… a bit of a wild ride is on the way.” The duo announced that this moment was the beginning of a new and beautiful chapter in their lives. Soon their posts were filled with congratulatory wishes on their anniversary and pregnancy.

Randeep and Lin, who married in 2023 in an intimate and culturally rich Manipuri ceremony, spoke openly about their shared values, love of nature and commitment to a grounded life. They fell in love while learning acting at Naseeruddin Shah’s theater group Motley, moved in together during the Covid-19 lockdown and made their relationship official in 2022.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hooda was last seen in the 2025 action thriller Jaat, where he played the antagonist Ranatunga. Directed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni in his Bollywood debut, the film featured Sunny Deol in the lead character. Jaat was a commercial success and its sequel, Jaat 2, was also announced.
