IIMK, Tata Power to collaborate in training professionals in power sector

The Indian Management Institute Kozhikode (IIMK) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TATA Power-DDL) signed an agreement to cooperate in capacity development, education and information development in the power distribution sector. The agreement points to the beginning of a strategic partnership that aims to create a pipeline of equipped, talented, talented, ready -to -future professionals to address the developing challenges of the energy sector in Indian and global markets.

The memorandum of the memorandum was signed by IIMK Director Debashis Chatterjee on behalf of the Institute and Praveen Agrawal on behalf of Tata Power-DDL.

According to the agreement, IIMK and TATA Power-DDL will design and present special training and development programs for power sector professionals, focusing on future themes such as smart grills for power sector professionals, distributed production, renewable production, renewable integration, electrical mobility and artificial intelligence applications in power systems. Cooperation will also include joint research, workshops, faculty shopping and consultancy projects in national and international contexts.

The focal areas of the partnership include energy transition and indecisive, intelligent network management and flexibility, digital transformation, leadership development, sustainability and ESG integration, technology road map planning and organizational exchange management. The initiative is designed to bridge industry practice with academic insight, promote innovation and promote the development of the future in the power value chain.

Cooperation also facilitates IIMK to invite experts from Tata Power-DDL to global stickers and thought leadership activities and to maintain their joint consultancy and simulation assignments.

The memorandum of the memorandum refers to a long -term partnership that will remain in force for five years and dedicated to skills for innovation, sustainable practices and energy sector.
