Trump Media Director Says Firms He Represents Will Invest Rs.1 lakh Cr in Telangana

Hyderabad: Trump Media and Technology Group Corp Director Eric Swider on Monday said firms he represents will invest Rs 1 lakh crore in Telangana’s near-future ‘Bharat Future City’ here in the next 10 years.
Speaking at the opening session of the Telangana Rising Global Summit, Swider said that the world’s technology capitalists come from India and it would be blindness not to see that the country is on the rise.
“I would like Hon’ble Prime Minister (Revanth Reddy) to know that over the next 10 years, I have the intention to deploy up to Rs 1 lakh crore through our organizations to the City of the Future and development areas therein and I am very, very grateful for this opportunity,” he said.
Swider currently serves as CEO and board member of Renatus Tactical Acquisition Corp and previously served as CEO of Digital World Acquisition Corp, which later merged with Trump Media and Technology.
“A lot of this talent comes from India. Now if you move forward to today, you would be too blind to see that the technology capitalists around the world are coming from India. India is on the rise and I don’t think India will stop. I think India will continue to rise, lead the world in technology,” he said.
Telangana Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan asked Swider to inform Trump that a street in Hyderabad has been named after the US President.
