Trump Media and Technology Group on Thursday announced a merger deal with TAE Technologies, a fusion energy company, valued at more than $6 billion.
The deal, with all shares expected to close by mid-2026, will result in shareholders of each firm owning approximately half of the combined company.
The merger will create “one of the world’s first publicly traded fusion companies,” according to a press release.
The announcement marks further expansion for Trump Media, which operates President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform, after expanding into the financial services industry earlier this year.
