President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has nominated Chris Klomp to serve as deputy secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Klomp’s LinkedIn profile States that he is “General Counsel to HHS,” “Deputy Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,” “Director of the Center for Medicare, CMS,” and “Senior Adviser to the Secretary of HHS.”
