Trump pushes for 15-20% tariffs on European Union: FT

US President Donald Trump demands at least 15%-20% tariffs for imports from the European Union, Financial Times Reported Friday, referring to resources.
The newspaper said that three people who were briefed about the trade talks between the US and the blocks increased their demands after weeks on a possible framework agreement.
After two weeks until Trump’s last date of August 1, the talks between the two forces seem to have stopped.
The EU hoped to make a similar agreement to the UK, which maintains a 10% start tariff with some sector exemptions.
Trump often understood the trade surplus of the EU with the US 198 billion euros ($ 231 billion) in goods with the US
Considering the services and investments, the European Union officials say that trade is much more balanced. They also promised to increase oil and gas purchases to narrow the trade gap.
CNBC contacted the European Commission, the EU’s executive body to comment on the report. Dow Jones Industrial Average Lower than a session is traded more than 250 points.
