Countrywide survey reveals deficits in student learning

Performance evaluation, review and analysis results for Rashtria Sarvekshen (Parkh RS), which was previously known as the National Success Research (NAS), have shown that Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Dadra Nagar Helii and Daman & Dami and Chandigarh are the best performance states in school education.
Parkh RS has evaluated the performance of 21.15.022 children in the 781 regions of the country in the 781 regions of the country in 781 regions of the country: Language and Mathematics (for classes 3, 6 and 9), the Earth around us (for the 3rd and 6th grades) and the science and social sciences (for the 9th grade 9). 2,70,424 teachers and school leaders responded to the surveys.

Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Kerala appeared as the best performance states in the third grade. Kerala, Punjab and Dadra Nagar have the best performance in the 9th grade. The results found that 67% of the students know that they know and use sufficient words to effectively perform their daily interactions in the 3rd grade and that they could predict the meaning of new words using the existing vocabulary.

In mathematics, 68% in the 3rd grade can divide objects into groups and sub -groups based on multiple characteristics, while 69% can define and expand simple patterns in their environment, shapes and numbers. Only 55% of them can set up to 99 numbers increasing and decreasing.
In the 6th grade, only 54% can represent numbers using the ground value structure of the Indian number system and know and read the names of very large numbers. Only 38% students can solve puzzles and daily life problems with one or more operations in integers.
