Trump says he’ll release October MRI results, calls them ‘perfect’

President Donald Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Sunday that he would announce the results of the MRI he had in October.
“If they want to release it, it’s okay for me to release it too,” Trump said. “Perfect.”
“If you want it to be published, I’ll publish it,” he told reporters as he returned to Washington, D.C., after spending Thanksgiving weekend at Mar-a-Lago.

A reporter asked Trump which part of the body the MRI focused on in the scan.

“I have no idea,” the President responded. “What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it. I got a perfect grade.”
white house published a note On October 10, White House physician Sean Barbabella said Trump was undergoing advanced imaging as part of a planned follow-up evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Barbabella said the assessment is part of the president’s ongoing health care plan and includes laboratory testing and preventive health assessments.
“Extensive laboratory studies performed in conjunction with the visit were unremarkable, including stable metabolic, hematological, and cardiac parameters,” the memo said in part.

A reporter had previously asked White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt at a White House press conference in early November about releasing MRI results because it is a very special procedure and usually not routine.
“Like I said, I’ll double-check for you,” Leavitt said.
