Modi to Address BJP Yuva Samavesh in Odisha Today
BHUBANESWAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Odisha’s Jharsuguda today to address the nest Samavesh of the Bharatia Janata Party (BJP). The visit comes months after the BJP for the first time in Odisha with its own power.
Between 2014 and 2025, Modi visited Odisha 33 times and emphasized the political importance of the state for BJP. Jarsuguda will be the 34th stop.
On the eve of his arrival, he received X (formerly called twitter) to announce his agenda: “There will be developmental works worth 50,000 Crore in Odisha. In a historical success, 97,500 Telecom towers in India will be influenced by local technologies and will be built using them.”
Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampathi, Prime Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, Union Minister Jual Oram, BJP National Vice President Baijaya Panda and several state ministers are expected to share with Modi.
According to the authorities, the Prime Minister will leave the cornerstone for the expansion of eight IT – BHilai, Dharwad, Tirupati, Indore, Jammu, Palakkad, Jodhpur and Patna, which includes 11,000 Crore investment to create 12,000 additional seats. In addition, Pradhan Mantry Antodaya Yojana will distribute work orders for 50,000 houses.
BJP MLA from Jharguda, “We are eagerly waiting for the arrival of PM Modi. His understanding and wisdom will certainly inspire young people who experience great development under the double -engine government,” he said.
