Trump’s health report sparks alarm as vascular surgeon makes ominous claim

Donald Trump’s latest medical exam has sparked concerns among doctors who say it is ‘too good to be true’ and vital data is missing.

Doctors examined Trump last Tuesday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for what the President called his ‘6-month checkup’ and after the visit, he declared on social media that ‘everything checked out PERFECTLY’.

The White House waited longer than usual to release the exam results, fueling speculation about the 79-year-old president, who has been under intense scrutiny for bruises on his hands, swelling in his ankles and allegations of cognitive decline.

Late Vice President Dick Cheney’s heart doctor, Jonathan Reiner, said on social media, “There is no other explanation for not disclosing the results of the President’s medical examination other than not wanting the American people to know something.”

On Friday, three days after the exam, the White House released a statement from Trump’s doctor, US Navy Capt. Sean Barbarella, saying the President ‘is in excellent health and demonstrates strong heart, lung, neurological and overall physical function.’

The report includes information on Trump’s vital statistics, references various scans performed, and offers minor advice on preventative care.

The president was listed at 75 inches, 238 pounds (14 pounds heavier than last year), but had a healthy resting heart rate and normal blood pressure. He takes two cholesterol medications and aspirin for his heart, according to the report.

“This report is too good to be true for someone his age,” Texas vascular surgeon David Shutze told the Wall Street Journal. ‘This appears to be a filtered narrative.’

Trump, 79, became the oldest person ever elected to the presidency, beating his predecessor Joe Biden by nearly five months.

Presidents are not required to make their medical information public.

But Trump has faced growing political pressure to release Biden’s records after making his health a cornerstone of his presidential campaign, criticizing his rival as ‘Sleepy Joe’ for failing to take a cognitive test.

Shutze downplayed the report’s tendency to confirm Trump’s health without offering specific data to back up Barbarella’s claims.

Reiner noted that many of the tests mentioned in the White House report were conducted recently on Trump and that it was unusual for them to be repeated.

Barbarella’s report also cited an AI analysis of the echocardiogram that revealed Trump’s “heart age” was fifteen years younger than his actual age.

This AI assessment is ‘not a clinically used tool,’ Reiner said.

Some previous problems regarding the health of the President, who boasts that he is unusually fit for his age, have raised suspicions.

Are doctors right to question the White House summary?

Trump’s hands appear to be bruised frequently, and he sometimes uses make-up or bandages to hide it.

The president and those around him attributed the bruising to frequent handshakes and the effects of regular doses of aspirin, a blood thinner.

Last year, it was revealed that the President was suffering from chronic venous insufficiency, a circulatory problem common in elderly patients, after photos showed swelling in his lower legs.

Barbarella’s report stated that the swelling had resolved, without going into detail as to why or how much.

The White House said that ignoring detailed scan results was typical of an ‘executive summary’ such as this report.

White House communications director Steven Cheung slammed ‘outside doctors speculating wildly about a person’s health.’

“President Trump has publicly disclosed more detailed information about his health than any other president in history,” Cheung added.
