Margo Martin has been busy sharing behind-the-scenes footage of Donald Trump’s recent visit to China, which has received mixed reactions on whether it means a successful summit.
Called the 79-year-old president’s “most beautiful” advisor and drawing attention with her resemblance to First Lady Melania Trump, 30-year-old Martin published behind-the-scenes clips of the trip on social media after the delegation’s return from the Asian country on Friday, May 15.
As the president continues to face accusations that he left empty-handed after his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Martin appeared to offer an alternative perspective with his posts.
Martin, who serves as Special Assistant and Communications Advisor to the President, shared a series of clips from the visit on his Instagram Stories to provide a glimpse into what’s happening away from the public eye.
Many of Trump and Xi’s arrivals have featured images of them together as they are greeted by cheering dancers and other ceremonial fanfare.

He also shared clips of himself traveling around the country, group photos with his caddies, glimpses of meetings around the conference table, a visit to the Temple of Heaven, and performances at the state dinner.
She shared footage of the president’s interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, offering a candid behind-the-scenes look at their easy rapport as the interview drew to a close.
As the two men sat across from each other, Hannity appeared to try to end things without a proper goodbye, prompting Trump to interject: “So, do you want to say goodbye or something?”
The room erupted in laughter until Hannity regained his composure and continued the interview.
Behind-the-scenes footage of the trip emerged as Martin became more prominent in her role, largely as press secretary Karoline Leavitt took maternity leave after the birth of her second child.

Trump has previously described Martin as “the most beautiful photographer in the world” and retained him in his current position after his unwavering loyalty following his election defeat in 2020.
Martin moved to West Palm Beach and became head of the communications team ahead of his second election victory.
He currently manages all @TeamTrump social media accounts and has responsibilities such as documenting behind-the-scenes content, managing high-profile video materials, and driving digital engagement.

He also received significant praise from Leavitt and other colleagues for his work in this role.
She’s not the only member of management to receive compliments on her appearance, either.
Prior to his departure, in December 2025, Mt. At the rally in Airy, Pennsylvania, Trump made a point of complimenting Leavitt’s lips. “You know, when Fox gets on TV, they dominate,” he said at the time.
“When she gets out there with that pretty face and her lips that won’t stop, they rule – Ba-ba-bup-bop-bop!” he said at that time.
This came to light when the identities of two female aides who traveled with Trump on his trip to China while Melania stayed at home were revealed.
