TTD To Launch AI Chatbot In 15 Days
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) plans to launch AI Chatbot to clear doubts about the temple and various argita sevas of pilgrims from across the world.
The artificial intelligence-supported chatbot will be available to pilgrims in the next 15 days with the collaboration of Tata Consultancy Services and Amazon Web Services cloud platform. The chatbot will overcome the language barrier and will put an end to the long wait of pilgrims to get a response from TTD officials due to their hesitation.
Pilgrims contact TTD call centres, emails and other social media platforms to get answers to their queries regarding darshan tickets, accommodation facilities, transportation and refunds. However, the response is delayed due to lack of human resources. Following this situation, the artificial intelligence chatbot is expected to overcome this problem and continue to provide answers at any time of the day.
The monthly cost of cloud services is estimated to go up to Rs 4 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, excluding taxes. Payment will be made online periodically based on the use of the services.
The AI chatbot can clear the doubts of large number of pilgrims at the same time. Can answer questions in all 13 Indian languages. This will provide real-time information to pilgrims by guiding them in booking darshan tickets. It also provides ‘speech to text’ and ‘text to speech’ features in addition to the usual typing.
