TTD To Streamline Donation Of Vegetables For Annaprasadam

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) plans to offer a dynamic system to manage 6-7 tons of vegetable donations for Annaprasadam service. The system will monitor existing vegetables, prevent recurrence and provide a consistent diversity in dishes offered to pilgrims. It will coordinate donations according to seasonal uses and local growth conditions.

On Tuesday, TTD Additional Executive Officer (EO) Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, the dynamic mapping of vegetables will help to manage donations more efficiently, to optimize resources, to determine supply gaps, and to help better plan in high -demand periods.

EK EO appreciated donors for their long -standing support since 2004. He asked them to increase their contributions. “Annaprasadam service has expanded significantly for the last one and a half years. 96 percent of the pilgrims were pleased with their food,” he said.

Annaprasadam Assistant Eo Rajendra Kumar and Catering Gln Shastri informed donors about their contributions to the last four years, which increased by 7 percent in 2025. Currently, donors supplied 25 kinds of vegetables a day. The requirement for the upcoming Brahmotsavams will rise to 10 tons per day. The donors made sure they would meet the demand.

EK EO later accepted the donors of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in the maintenance of Tirumala Annaprasadam service.
