Two-day Collectors’ conference to begin in AP today

The two-day Collectors Conference, where the implementation of various welfare programs and development works will be reviewed, will be held at the Secretariat from 11 March.
The meeting will be held at Block Five of the Secretariat and will be chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Besides reviewing welfare plans and development works, the meeting will discuss GST growth, Swarnandhra 2047 vision, infrastructure provision and law and order issues.
Mr. Naidu will review the GSDP and the goals and objectives achieved by the districts. The second day of the conference will discuss health, welfare programmes, implementation of Super Six programmes, and law and order. Superintendents of Police of the districts will attend the evening session where the DGP will make a presentation on law and order in the state.
