Two dead, one in hospital after horror boat capsize in NSW

A man and a woman have died and another man has been taken to hospital after their boat overturned near a coastal town in northern NSW.
The boat capsized at around 6am on Thursday while trying to cross the shore bar at the mouth of the Clarence River at Yamba, about 133 kilometers north of Coffs Harbour.
Emergency services were called to Yamba Breakwater where a 52-year-old man was pulled from the water. He was rushed to Maclean Regional Hospital for assessment and mandatory testing.
A short time later, a woman was taken out of the water by citizens, while another man was rescued by medical teams.
Both people, who were intervened by medical teams, died at the scene.
Police said the man and woman are both believed to be in their 50s but have not yet been formally identified.
The NSW Police Force Maritime Area Command launched an investigation.
