Two dead, three injured after explosion in southern England, police say

LONDON, May 3 (Reuters) – Two people died and three others, including a child, were slightly injured after an explosion at a house in Bristol, southern England, police said on Sunday. Authorities considered the cause of the incident suspicious.
Declaring the incident a major incident, police said they were not treating it as a suspected terrorist incident, and Avon and Somerset Police Inspector Matt Ebbs later described it as a domestic incident.
Police said in a statement that officers were also carrying out investigations linked to the explosion at a property in Bristol, and although they were in the early stages, authorities were not looking for anyone else in connection with the explosion at this point.
Police said there was no significant damage to other properties.
