Two electrocuted, seven injured in mishap at Ganesh idol-making unit in Korutla

On Sunday, in a Korutla in the Jagtial Region, two people were electrified and seven were injured. The mistake occurred in the Balaji Ganesh idol making unit on the Metpalli Road in Korutla.

The sources said that Vinod, the owner of the small idol making unit and a worker, died of electric shock. When Idol accidentally touched the fire transmission lines, it resulted in tragedy.

The wounded people, all workers, ran to the Government Regional Hospital in Korutla, and then passed to the Regional Headquarters Hospital in Jagtial for better treatment. Vinod survived by his wife and two daughters.
