Two flee police custody in Kochi, one nabbed

Two men arrested in a theft case escaped from Kadavanthra police custody on Sunday. Police sources said that one of the suspects was caught after a short chase, and efforts are continuing to capture the other.

The accused Sooraj, a native of Nooranad, Alappuzha and Russel from Pathanamthitta, fled to the police around 5.45 pm after being produced before a magistrate in Paravur.
