Tyre burst triggers collision between two lorries in Hayathnagar, driver injured

The mangled remains of one of the heavy vehicles in an accident that took place in Hyderabad’s Hayathnagar on Wednesday.
A truck driver was injured when two heavy vehicles collided following a tire burst near Hayathnagar on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway (NH-65) in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to police, the accident reportedly took place around 4 am when a Rajasthan registered truck loaded with kirana goods was heading towards Autonagar from Medchal. When the vehicle reached the Kaptan Cook restaurant, one of its tires burst, causing the driver to lose control. The truck hit the road barrier and stopped on the road.
After a while, the dump truck coming from behind hit the stationary vehicle, crushing the cabin of the dump truck, and the driver, Naveen, was injured and trapped in the cabin.

Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and treated the injured person. While the accident caused temporary traffic jam on the highway, the police removed the vehicles from the service road before the site was cleared.
