U.S. fans were out in full force ahead of the USMNT’s first match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup

The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) begins its World Cup adventure against Paraguay on Friday night, and there is a lot of excitement evident from their arrival at the stadium.

The Americans are preparing to play their first World Cup game on home soil since 1994, and after years of preparation, it’s finally time to see the team on the field.

First, of course, was the arrival at Los Angeles Stadium (also known as SoFi Stadium outside of the World Cup).

Fans began arriving in the early afternoon local time, ready to catch the Red, White and Blue in a World Cup match on home soil.

Meanwhile, the USMNT has released a video that will make any red-blooded American ready to run through the wall.

The team had a two-legged journey to reach the stadium. First, they took buses from the training facility at the Great Park Sports Complex in Irvine, California, to Los Angeles to the hotel where they would stay after the game.

Then it was back to the buses to go to Los Angeles Stadium.

According to the report, the Americans come into the game as +107 favourites. FOX SportsHowever, they lost 2-1 in a friendly against Germany last week at Chicago’s Soldier Field.

Meanwhile, Paraguay is defeating Nicaragua 4-0 in the last preparation match before the World Cup.

The team and coach Mauricio Pochettino also received good wishes from New York Rangers and US Men’s Hockey Team head coach Mike Sullivan ahead of the first match of the tournament.
