Elsewhere, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire are expected to see highs of 30 to 31 degrees, while much of the Midlands is expected to reach the 20s.
It is predicted that the heat will also spread northward; Temperatures are likely to be around 26 to 28 degrees in parts of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Cheshire and the East Midlands.
Temperatures in Wales are expected to be between 22 and 27 degrees, with the warmest conditions in the south and east of the country.
Further north, Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to remain colder, although temperatures in eastern and southern areas could still reach lows into the mid-20s.
By Friday 10 July, graphs show the heat will continue across southern and eastern England; Temperatures are still expected to be between 30°C and 32°C in many areas, while much of the rest of England and Wales will remain in the mid-to-high 20s.

The forecast comes as the Met Office predicts high pressure will develop across much of the UK in the second week of July.
In its long-range forecast for Saturday 4 July to Monday 13 July, the Met Office said: “High pressure will dominate England and Wales over the weekend, bringing sunny, dry and warm conditions for most.
“Scotland and Northern Ireland are likely to see more clouds this weekend, with periods of rain mostly affecting western Scotland.
“Over the next working week, high pressure will continue to creep over England and Wales, perhaps extending northwards bringing drier, warmer air to Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“Winds will be light to moderate for most, but will be stronger over the northern hills and coasts close to low pressure systems. Temperatures will increase throughout this period, perhaps becoming very warm or very hot in places.”
