The business, based in Mildenhall, is facing a winding-up petition filed by British Gas Trading Limited on March 30, 2026.

The company, registered at Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, will have its petition heard at Liverpool Civil and Family Court on Tuesday, May 5.

The meat supplier has been in business since 2016.

The petitioner’s solicitor is Sian Phillips of Womble Bond Dickinson LLP.

The Winding Up Petition forces the company into compulsory liquidation due to unpaid debts.

The move to halt operations comes at a time when the UK farming sector is facing serious financial difficulties.

Forecasts in the meat industry suggest more than a third of farms in the UK could close within the next five years due to changes to inheritance tax (IHT).
