RHOBH star Brandi Glanville lands in urgent care over TikTok trend

Brandi Glanville might think twice the next time a TikTok trend pops up.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star admitted she ended up in urgent care after trying a viral move to ease her cold symptoms.
Glanville, 53, sought medical attention only for another reason: to remove a clove of garlic from his ear.

While chatting on her podcast “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered with James Maas,” the reality star revealed that her Easter was cut short by a particularly pungent vegetable.
After Mass asked about his health, Glanville explained that he was “doing great” but needed a new pillow due to neck issues and had had a particularly rough spring break.
“It was Easter and I got a piece of garlic stuck in my ear,” Glanville admitted. “I was a little cold. Jake came over and kept sneezing in my face.”

Her 18-year-old son said he was no longer sick, but his mother knew best as she scolded him to “cover his mouth when he sneezes.”
“Then I caught a cold too. Then on Easter I didn’t do anything because of the garlic in my ear,” he said.

“Every time I tried to remove it, it would get worse and I would have to go to urgent care and have it removed the next day.”
“I was just trying to clear my sinuses. Online. Don’t listen to people online, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.”

Although the method wasn’t effective for Brandi, her son Mason told her she “put it up her nose and it helped her.”
“I tried my nostril, but it burned too much, so I put it to my ear. It felt like my skin was burning because I was applying laser.”
Glanville previously shared that he believed he contracted a parasite after visiting Morocco in 2023. He suffered facial paralysis and was initially diagnosed with stress-related angioedema.

He said that after the initial diagnosis, he suspected that he had contracted a parasite in Morocco and that he could feel the parasite moving on his face.
Glanville previously told Fox News Digital that although no one could figure out what the real problem with his disfigured face was, doctors suggested “it might be a parasite, but they’re not sure.”
In October 2023, after a stressful move, he fell ill at home and was hospitalized.

“My whole face swelled up, my throat closed up, and my son called 911,” Glanville said. “I was in the hospital for a few days and they said it was stress-induced angioedema, so I didn’t believe it.”

Angioedema is “an urticaria-like reaction that affects the deeper layers of the skin. It may occur with or without hives.” Mayo Clinic. His symptoms continued and even got worse. Glanville was unconvinced that angioedema was the problem and put his health at the forefront of his mind as he searched for an answer.

In February, the reality star discovered that the 20-year-old’s ruptured breast implants were responsible for her medical problems.
Before the announcement, Glanville admitted to spending more than $70,000 in an attempt to find an answer to the medical mystery that had consumed his daily experience and disfigured his face.
